The awaited trailer of GTA VI, the next installment of the successful video game saga from Rockstar Games, has premiered today by surprise after it was leaked on the internet.
The video, of almost a minute long, confirms that the game will be set in the fictional city of Vice City, inspired by Miami, and that it will be released in 2025. The trailer shows several scenes of the city, with its beaches, palm trees, skyscrapers and neon lights, as well as some of the vehicles that we will be able to drive, such as motorcycles, boats, helicopters and planes. We can also see some of the characters that we will encounter in the story, such as mobsters, cops, prostitutes and celebrities. The video ends with the logo of GTA VI and the release date.
The announcement has caused a great expectation among the fans of the franchise, who have been waiting for a new installment for years since GTA V was released in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and later for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
GTA V has been one of the best-selling games in history, with more than 150 million copies, and has generated billions of dollars in revenue thanks to its successful online mode.
Rockstar Games has not given more details about GTA VI, but it is expected that the game will take full advantage of the capabilities of the new generation consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as the most powerful computers.
It is also speculated that the game will have a huge map, that will cover several cities and countries, and that it will have a dynamic story, that will change according to the player’s decisions.
